In the current competitive market, Effective and usable business intelligence dashboards increases the company’s bottom line. In current BI Culture Dashboards are the ultimate tools for promotion of business intelligence culture within an organization. As they display information in an understandable and intuitive way.
Basic Definition of Dashboards can be stated as a panel where all information about company might be stored at and presented in the simplest way possible to facilitate the management. The simplest charts that were being used in the beginning had nothing in common with today's complex solution, but there was only a time needed for change to come. As the advanced graphical tools as people have started attaching weight to functionality instead of appearance.
Influences of Dashboards on companies are:
• Increase in their efficiency and productivity thanks to automation
• Save time due to reduced number of reports required
• Resign from static reports
• Trace new trends with detailed reports
• Concentrate on facts, not form (graphics)
• Easily understand strategy statements
