a) Who are the stakeholders in the situation?

b) Identify the problems with Aphrodite’s actions and discuss the ethical considerations of her actions.

The first problem is that Aphrodite takes long lunch hours while Venus sacrifices her lunch hours to accommodate regular customers. The second problem is that Aphrodite makes larger withdrawals than Venus does. The ethical considerations of her actions are that first, she must also do her part in maximizing the profit of their business. Because if Venus will only do all the job, it may lead to Aphrodite being all alone in running the business. Second, Aphrodite does not have the right to make large withdrawals. It is not fair for Venus’ part because Venus is doing twice the job that Aphrodite is showing, and in the end, Aphrodite would get all the rewards and profits.

Aphrodite is wrong in taking long lunch hours and making large withdrawals. If you are running a partnership business, each one of you must contribute one’s skills, knowledge and efforts in running the business to have a successful outcome.

c) How might the partnership agreement be revised to accommodate the differences in Aphrodite’s and Venus’ s work and withdrawal habits?

The partnership agreement might be revised based on each of the partner’s capital. If Venus puts in a lot of effort in running the business, she should have the right of having the 60 percent of profit. Because she always makes a point in maximizing the profits and accommodating the customers. While Aphrodite gets the 40 percent of the profit, because she needs to improve her performance in running the business, she also needs to be aware of the large withdrawals she is making and the long lunch hours she’s

Each founding partner receives an agreed-upon percentage of the stock of the business based upon the money the partner initially puts into it, the value of his or her skills, experience, and so on. The profits of the business are then divided according to the percentage of stock each partner owns. For example, if…

Never willing to accept defeat before her husband does, Linda Loman deals with her family on a daily basis. She has a husband, Willy who is a salesman searching to achieve the American dream both for himself and his sons, whom he quarrels with as much as he loves them. But Willy is getting old, and fear of his yet to be accomplished goals seem to speak to Linda. Some critics claim that Linda is "above self-pity" and that "her confidence in him is unshaken". Others complain that she "offers more encouragement than understanding". The reason for all the opposing ideas is because Arthur Miller effectively leads the readers to contradict our first impression of Linda. In the play "Death of a Salesman", the author Arthur Miller transforms Linda Loman from a frightened but encouraging victim to a manipulative villain who is hindering Willy's American dream.…

In 1954 the Supreme Court justices made a ruling on what I believe to be one of the most important cases within American history, Brown v Board of Education. There were nine Justices serving in the case of Brown v Board of Education this was the court of 1953-1954. This court was formed Monday, October 5, 1953 and Disbanded Saturday, October 9, 1954. Chief Justice, Earl Warren, Associate Justices, Hugo L. Black, Stanley Reed, Felix Frankfurter, William O. Douglas, Robert H. Jackson, Harold Burton, Tom C. Clark, Sherman Minton all of which voted unanimously in favor of Brown in the case of Brown v Board of Education [as cited on http://www.oyez.org/courts/warren/war1]. Brown v Board of Education was a landmark U.S. Supreme Court decision that brought to light the fact that racial segregation in the public schools system was both morally unsound and unconstitutional. The case was brought to the Supreme Court by the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People, more commonly known as the NAACP, on behalf of a young African American female named Linda Brown, a student who attended an extremely segregated all-black elementary school from a small town in Kansas called Topeka. The decision led to nationwide desegregation in educational and other institutions and gave impetus to the civil rights movement in America. Jim Crow laws kept the minorities (primarily African Americans) of this country in a very neglected and fearful state; this was the face of our country for decades.…
