Abstract
Families can have a significant influenced on a child’s mental health. The family therapy is a treatment modality that can be used alone or in combination with other treatment modalities. Family therapy strategies include psychodynamic, structural, and emotional and Focus Couple therapy theory. In this paper, each individual member of the families will be looked at from the theoretical prospective of each model and put into context of a family dynamic and how each of their relations affect one another. Some ideas and intervention methods will be offered based on each theoretical model to move the family towards a healthier and more enriching relationship.
