Real Life Knight: Ms. Lichtenwald
Jordan Palk Ms. Abegg English 11 03/30/23 Knights are heroic figures who are dependable and have been idolized in stories for centuries as we have learned. When you meet a real-life knight, you can immediately tell and feel a trusting energy; for me, that was Ms. Lichtenwald. She shows the main traits of a knight such as humility, compassion, devotion, courtesy, generosity, and several more. She is the perfect example of a modern-day knight as well as an incredible role model. Humility is the ability of one to be modest or humble, and Ms. Lichtenwald fits this definition perfectly. She is a minimal person and always puts others before herself. She always mentions what her kids have done, but never talks about herself. She wears clothes that she is comfortable wearing and is …show more content…
You can tell that she is compassionate about biology as well as knowledgeable about the topic. Devotion is also one of her strong attributes and also one of the reasons why I chose her. She is always working and once she sets her mind to something, it won't stop until it's done. She is so devoted to teaching, and she just wants what is best for her students. She pushes us to be our best selves and is driven to help us succeed. Courtesy along with respect are both similar attributes that she also shows. She is accepting as well as respectful of the opinions of everyone, even if she may not agree with them. Also, Ms. Lichtenwald is always polite to her students, even if she may not be having a great day, she still is kind to everyone. One part everyone knows about Mrs. L is that she is an all-around generous person. She is constantly doing everything to help others, along with always putting other people before herself. She lets kids sit in her room during lunch so that they aren't forced to sit alone in the cafeteria, and she also let me enter a game when I was one dollar short of the

    Is Life Real?

Is life real? Through my analysis of both the articles I found many parallels in both accounts about whether the reality we face is true or if it’s a falsehood. In the movie the “Matrix” it deals with the reality that we face and how it’s been a lie for most of the average person’s life. The movie deals with a character whose name is “Mr. Anderson” aka Neo and how he has been living a double life, one as a computer programmer and the other as a hacker during the night. He has a run in with a man…

Experiencing life as a knight is better than experiencing life as a samurai for the reason that the rules that knights had to follow were less strict than the rules that samurai had to follow. The samurai bushido code stated that a samurai had to live by honour. If a samurai was to lose his honour he would have to commit suicide. Samurai could lose their honour by failing to protect their daimyo, losing one of their swords, or losing in battle. This meant that samurai had to be on guard at all times…

The imagination I come across all starts with Ms. Bernstein’s, her whole life is pretty much what the book is about not just the Holocaust. In my opinion it made her personal experiences so real. Ms. Bernstein’s talks about her childhood, schooling, family and how she traded. Ms. Bernstein’s was very detailed about her tragedies. The only thing I didn’t like about the book was that Ms. Bernstein was very detailed during her horrific experiences. The pain in my daughter’s eyes that I encountered…

I think that many math topics have meaning and relevancy and are dependent on the path one takes in terms of finding real world application. For example, sports is largely dependent on sports. Decisions are made based regarding playing time as well as strategy based on percentages. In baseball, there is a strong use of math. Managers have to make decisions on which pitchers to start and, especially so in games of importance, those decisions are predicated upon statistical reality. If a pitcher has…

My Real Life Situation Back home, I was working as a teaching assistant ,and still is, with limited authorities. At the end of the semester, we usually have the finals week. Our department starts to fall apart as usual, the schedule was a mess; in one day we have 4 exams and on the other day none. It’s a typical end of the semester when all this madness happens , and we struggle every semester to find a solution. This usually happens because of our head department lack of attention or lack…
