Recommendation for Genting Highland accident
RECOMMENDATION

In this Genting bus crash case, there are several recommendations that we want to point out in preventing or reducing the frequency and severity of bus accidents at Genting Highlands in the future.

The government should upgrade the safety of Genting Highlands road. Including signboard, lighten up the side of the road, adding up the road yellow bar especially at accidents area, improving the safety area beside only using the rubber wall and guard rails and reconstruct the widen of the road.

The drivers must have a self awareness and high responsibility on the passenger safety. The driver is prohibited from taking any drugs or alcohol before or while driving. The driver also must have a good attitude towards the passenger, high patient and have an enough sleep before the journey. The most important is the driver must follow the Road Traffic Act while driving.

The company of the bus should take a safety precaution which are every each bus must undergo a service maintenance every 3 month, should hire an experience bus driver at least 2 years experience and have no any bad records on traffic.

Last but not least, the passenger should play a role by choosing a good bus company which have a good reputation have no bad history of any accidents.
CONCLUSION

Genting bus crash was the latest accidents that happened at the road to Genting Highland which have caused a total of 37 live onboard. It was the worst bus crash accidents in Malaysia that have occurred in the past of ten years. This bus crash accident take about a week to fully recovered and cleared the road to open and use the road to the public to go to the Genting Highlands. It takes too long for it to fully recover because the parties or department that should be responsible for this accident does not prepared any contingency plan for this type of accidents. The bus plunged into a 60 metres ravine, which was the major reason why parties have to take more time to fully recover it.
