1.0 Introduction
As mentioned by re-store.org (n.d) Recycled Art is art that has been created from found, salvaged, scavenged, and repurposed materials. The art can take the form of 2-dimensional, 3-dimensional, fashion design and accessories, interactive, mechanical, electronic, kinetic and multimedia works. Cast-off materials are very abundant in the American landscape, giving artists and designers a wide array of possibilities.
The RE Store, bringing Recycled Art events and programs to the Puget Sound region since our first Recycled Art Show in 1999.The annual Recycled Art & Fashion Show curates and juries art from professionals and students in partnership with arts and fashion organizations. Galleries in multiple cities display the work of the artists and designers. We celebrate the Show with Art Openings, outrageous Haute Trash Fashion Shows, hands-on art workshops, and other fun events.
Many years ago, it was thought that emissions from factory chimneys and sewage pipes constituted the biggest environmental problem. But since then, due to new, worldwide "Eco-laws", these discharges have decreased considerably. Many of the most environmentally damaging substances are currently being supplied through glass bottles, newspapers, plastic bags, coke cans, cardboard boxes and sweet wrappers just to mention a few. Since we all produce garbage, we are all part of the problem, we can also be part of the solution.
Recycling is something we all know we should doing, however there is no doubt it can be an intimidating process. Sure we know that pop cans can be turned into a bottle depot for a refund and paper can be put in the office recycling bin, but where is all of the other waste we generate every single day go? It 's safe to say that a large majority of it may not necessarily have to be sent to a landfill, but because we don 't know of any other disposal methods into the garbage bin it goes.
The new craft of recycle art is easy, as thousands of housewives, hobbyists, and home handyman have already discovered. The tools are inexpensive and the materials are almost free. So all of us can make it in self-way!
2.0 Purpose of recycle
Recycle art can be let our life more colourful. We can use then discard to do available thing. Don`t let it’s to contaminated our earth. Recycle can control lever of contaminated in the earth. Most of the wood, metal, plastic, and minerals consumed in industrial countries are used only once, and discarded after. This wasteful practice contributes to environmental ills from shrinking forests to changes in climate.
If we don’t recycle, we will eventually run out of space for all of our trash and The Earth 's atmosphere is now warming at the fastest rate in recorded history, a trend that is projected to cause extensive damage to forests, marine ecosystems, coastal towns and cities, and agriculture. The scientific evidence is now compelling that recent climate change is caused at least in part by human activities, especially the burning of fossil fuels, which has driven atmospheric carbon dioxide concentrations to their highest levels in 420,000 years.
Recyclenevada.com(n.d) indicate that Waste Exchange is a FREE waste exchange service for generators of scrap, waste or by-product as by Recyclenevada. Users can list their materials in an effort to facilitate waste diversion and minimize waste going into landfill. The Recycle Nevada: Waste Exchange is available to commercial, industrial and residential users throughout the state of Nevada. Furthermore, recyclenevada.com(n.d) noted that by taking waste from one company and using it as raw material for another, users can turn a negative into a positive through by-product synergy. Recycle Nevada: Waste Exchange helps to extend landfill life by reducing material that would otherwise be sent to landfill. This will also help to conserve valuable resources for future generations.
Recycling involves processing used materials into new products to prevent waste of potentially useful materials, reduce the consumption of fresh raw materials, reduce energy usage, reduce air pollution (from incineration) and water pollution (from landfilling) by reducing the need for "conventional" waste disposal, and lower greenhouse gas emissions as compared to virgin production. Recycling is a key component of modern waste reduction and is the third component of the "Reduce, Reuse, Recycle" waste hierarchy. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Incineration)
Actual, the Earth was seriously damaged by human. Recycle art can decrease contaminated by the side also can transition to business.
3.0 Impact of recycle art
According to Earthday (n.d), in convey social message recycling literally means to reuse the items that have already been used once. It implies reprocessing the used materials to prevent waste generated by household or industrial dumping. Recycling helps in lowering the greenhouse gas emissions and land filling. Land filling is the oldest and the crudest way of disposing waste. The process involves disposal of waste by burial. Although this is the organized method of waste disposal, it has severe negative impacts on people staying close to these areas and also to the surrounding environment. Use art to convey a message about an environment issue, learn about green art supplies and create of recycled materials. Art that is create through a sustainable manner and that uses environmentally friendly supplies.
Earthday (n.d) also mentioned that recycling conserves both raw materials and energy and reduces the amount of waste we produce. making a conscious choice to purchase or use products which will have a less harmful effect on the Environment. Recycling reduces our reliance on landfills and incinerators.
According to Earthday (n.d).Many useful items can be made from our everyday trash; the cardboard tubes left over from paper towel and toilet paper can make useful storage containers for our extra extension cords and prevents a tangled mess in the Christmas lights. Old Christmas cards can become new hand made cards and a glass or plastic bottle along with some clear oil and food colouring and a few other common household items can become a groovy lava lamp! There 's nothing better than being green and creative at the same time. You can have a lot of fun using everyday objects and recyclables to make these fun projects. Share them with a friend and help make the world a little greener!
In financial income part, as mentioned by Griff, A. L. (2010) recycling there is the financial benefit for the communities who recycle in that there will be reduced costs of waste disposal or recycling. You think recycling is expensive? Consider these recycling facts: aluminium cans are the most valuable item in your bin. Aluminium can recycling helps fund the entire curbside collection. It’s the only packaging material that more than covers the cost of collection and reprocessing for itself.
In addition, according to Ecomall (2008) recycling help in saving a lot of energy, which would otherwise have gone into the manufacturing of new products. In many factories, recycling eliminates the need for purchasing fresh raw materials. Therefore, the amount of labour and money involved in acquiring and transporting fresh raw materials from their natural source is reduced. This ultimately helps in pushing the production costs lower. You can also save on the energy required to clean and transport your waste materials to landfill sites or incineration units. Recycle can provide for more cost-effective materials in order to manufacture new items.
Advances in manufacturing technology have enabled most recycled products to compete - both in price and quality - with products made from virgin materials.
Process of keeping things from ending up in the trash. Taking trash and turning it into treasure.
According to Weburbanist (2009).Many people associate environmentalism with gloom-and-doom predictions about the planet. While climate change is a serious issue, many artists, architects and other designers are also working on smaller scale green projects that both effect the environment and cause change by sparking discussion and reflection. While the actual direct impact of any given artwork or design may be small the cumulative result of their efforts is palpable and grows bigger with each creative and sustainable design or art project.
Trash and Garbage Art (and Part Two): Have you ever been to the art store to buy materials? They don’t come cheap. While saved expenses are a bonus, most garbage artists use trash to create their artworks for other reasons. Some try to make direct statements about the nature of waste in our society while others employ recycled materials simply to get us to think about ordinary objects in a new and different way.
Recycled Material Used in Furniture Design and Construction: While some of these works could be considered kitsch a number of these are not only functional but also aesthetically compelling. Many recycled furniture designs flaunt their former lives as anything from bicycle tires to bath tubs. Instead of simply going for an ultra-sleek piece of modern hipster furniture, why not try something a bit o
Amazing Examples of Adaptive Reuse in Architecture (and More Recycled Adaptive Reuse Buildings): Recycling trash into art or furniture is one thing, but buildings are at another scale entirely. Gigantic structures and massive vehicles can be recycled into alternative offices, homes and recreational structures. These adaptive reuse projects span the spectrum from small to large, conventional to uncanny and everything in between
Shipping Container Buildings (and Part Two): Once a cargo container is too old or damaged to be used for its intended purpose where does it go? Shipping containers provide a seemingly never-ending supply of raw prebuilt structural boxes that can be used in all kinds of ingenious architectural ways. These two articles present some great examples of home, office, school, museum and other residential, commercial and industrial building types that have used shipping containers as the basis for creative and unique architectural designs.
4.0 The way to Implements Recycle art
Resources recycle is important on current social. Resources recycle can be help our social decreasing the rubbish and also can achieve environmental effect.
People should be take the resources that can be reuse or recycle to recycle company like: paper, tins, glass, plastic and others. Recycle company will be collect and classification the resources and final will be take to recycle or reuse.
Resources can be classification to two main types, recyclable and non-recyclable, but here we only will presentation the type of recyclable only.
The main of resources of recyclable can be classification to:
i. Paper - cardboard, brown paper, magazine and so on. ii. Metal - steel, aluminum, copper and so on. iii. Glass - clear glass and other color glass and so on. iv. Plastic - plastic bag, pvc, plastic bottle and so on.
v. Electrical - computer, mother board, cell phone and so on.
4.1 Tips to Save Environment
Since so many people are looking for ways to save the environment, knowing a few important tips can be very helpful. It is surprising to find out how even small, seemingly insignificant changes can actually help save the environment.
What kinds of tips are especially useful? Being conscientious about not running the faucet unless absolutely necessary is one excellent example. Changing the light bulbs in your house from standard to fluorescent is another tip for helping to save the environment. Indeed, there are many little tips and tricks that, when implemented on a regular basis, can make a huge difference. Even just changing one or two regular habits can have an incredibly positive impact on working to save the environment and planet earth.
4.2 Save Environment, Save The World
Keeping your yard, neighbourhood and community clean is a really good way to help save the environment. Global change really does begin at home; almost all tips regarding going green and living a more environmentally friendly lifestyle encourage changing how you lead your life right at your own home and on the level of your local community. You can increase the scope by helping your community save the planet; share important tips that you have learned about ways to save the planet with the city council or the mayor of your town. With any luck, some earth friendly ordinances can be passed which may have an incredible effect and help save the environment.
4.3 Recycling To Save The Environment
Some people are skeptical when they hear about recycling tips; they feel like their own meager efforts simply won’t make a good enough impact to really save the environment. However, in combination, everyone’s efforts help tremendously.
How to save the environment everyday, there are many surprising tips regarding how you can help save the environment in your everyday life. For example, did you know that simply shutting the refrigerator door promptly and not leaving it hanging open can add up to a lot of energy savings?
It’s little things like this that can converge and have a major, positive impact on helping to save the environment. Donating old toys to a worthy and needy cause – rather than throwing them into the landfill – is another great tip for helping to save the environment. Purchasing organic produce whenever possible is a superb tip for changing everyday habits and turning them around to help save the environment. If enough people begin implementing these sorts of practices, the planet will be much healthier for it.
4.4 Reduce, reuse, recycle
Here are some simple and easy ways to reduce, reuse and recycle every day:
- Save your paper or plastic grocery bags and take them back to the store.
- Instead of throwing out old furniture or clothing, you can list them on Craigslist or give them to a local thrift shop.
- Selling on eBay? Use crumpled newsprint or shredded paper as packing material.
- Purchase concentrated cleaning products to reduce packaging bulk.
5.0 The Resources We Can Use
(Earth911.com.n.d.) pointed out the benefits of aluminium can recycling is beneficial for individuals, communities, organizations, companies and industries. Recycle aluminium cans saves precious natural resources, energy, time and money.
In economic benefits aluminium has a high market value and continues to provide an economic incentive to recycle. When aluminium cans are recycled curbside, they help pay for community services. Each year, the aluminium industry pays out more than $800 million dollars for empty aluminium cans — that’s a lot of money that can go to organizations like Habitat for Humanity, the Boy or Girl Scouts of America or even a local school. Money earned from recycling cans helps people help themselves and their communities. Recycling helps build new homes, pays for a group trip, supports a project or buys a lunch. (Greenstudentu June 2010) showed that benefits of recycle paper such as for every ton of newspaper recycled you can save enough energy to power a television for 31 hours. Recycling one ton of paper can save 17 trees. Not only this, Reduces sulphur dioxide emissions uses less fossil fuels and most paper can be recycled up to 8times to create new products. Furthermore, recycle paper also can leave more trees for the sustainability of our environment and saves more energy.
Pakhare, j. (n.d) as mention for recycling plastic has many advantages. The consumption of energy is reduced as already prepared plastic are recycled for new use. The amount of plastic that reach the landfill sites are greatly reduced by recycling. This will eliminate land pollution to some extent. The carbon emissions are reduced by recycling plastic as manufacturing units emit more carbon.
Compared to other materials like glass and metal, recycling of plastic is expensive and complex. This is due to the high molecular weight of the large polymer chains that build the plastic material. Heating plastic doesn’t dissolve he polymer chains and hence a tedious and complex process is essential.
The common process that is used in recycling plastic is the inverse polymerization process where the polymers in the plastic are converted into initial monomers that were used in the manufacture. These chemicals are then purified and synthesized to form new plastic materials. Assorted polymers are converted into petroleum in another recycling process. The advantage of this process is that any mix of polymers can be used. A new recycling process generates heat from the friction of plastic materials which melts the plastics. This is then pumped into casting moulds. The great advantage of this technique is that all types of plastics can be recycled.
Moon, P, R (n.d) verifies that recycling glass has many environmental benefits. When glass is collected it is ground into small pieces called cullet. Cullet is used in the glass manufacturing process as a replacement for raw materials. The Glass Packaging Institute lists the benefits of using cullet. Using cullet requires less energy than manufacturing from raw materials. As a result, every six tons of glass recycled saves one ton of carbon dioxide emission and decreases emissions of sulphur dioxide, nitrogen oxide and particulates. Since the glass ground into cullet is already pure, it can be recycled endlessly with no loss of quality because of the pure quality, where recycled glass products can be brought back and reused again.
6.0 Conclusion
Many people associate environmentalism with gloom-and-doom predictions about the planet.
Upon reviewing statistics and the many ways in which recycling is in effect throughout the nation, we can confidently state that recycling is a profitable measure. In addition to these findings, we can also conclude that recycling would gain more profit if consumers had something to gain from recycling.
In conclusion, when you reduce, reuse and recycle, you’re diminishing the resources you consume and helping to save the world!

This is an online article source through a credible agency, the United States Environmental Protection Agency. It very briefly outlines how recycling occurs and the benefits of recycling, including reducing landfills. The purpose of this article was to inform anyone who is new to this field of study and would like to know the general idea. The process is very vaguely outlined and does not go too far in depth as to be understood by nearly any reader. The main ideas are the benefits and the three stages of recycling. The three stages are represented by the triangular arrows and are Collection and Processing, Manufacturing, and Purchasing New Products Made from Recycled Materials. Collection and Processing consists of attaining the material in a variety of ways, including curbside, drop off, and collection agencies and then processing and sorting the materials that can be used for manufacturing. Manufacturing consists of using this material to make new products such as paper towels and aluminum can, with more products emerging annually. The last step that closes…

Recycling and waste prevention are two very important ways to help address the issues of the environment concerning climate change. Recycling is a very beneficial factor that more individuals need to exercise in order to improve the environment’s pollution, reduce emissions of greenhouse gases, and save energy and natural resources that are used to produce products from virgin materials rather than from recycled materials, which uses less energy and produces less harmful pollution. Recycling has many benefits that helps improve the earth’s conditions. Waste prevention and recycling are real ways to address these problems and begin to make a change. Recycling turns materials that would otherwise become waste into valuable resources, reducing the amount of natural resources needed to produce these same products. Collecting your used bottles, cans, and newspapers and taking them to a recycling bin or collection facility is just the first step, in a series of steps that generates a host of financial, environmental, and social returns. These benefits accrue locally as well as globally. Recycling protects and expands United States manufacturing jobs and increases United States competitiveness by creating more recycling jobs and facilities within the United States and producing more of our own products with recycled materials and being less dependent on outside countries and companies for these products. Recycling prevents pollution caused by the manufacturing of products from virgin materials.…

Recycling has been a well known idea for so many years, but now we need it more than ever. Now in the world there are so many problems with the environment like Global Warming, toxic waste, and not to mention not recycling is very costly but recycling reduces the landfill space, helps conserves natural resources, and reduces the production of greenhouse gases . When you recycle you also help save animals so the rims of a six pack of soda doesn’t end up blocking a fish's gills or a plastic bag getting eaten by a turtle and having it choke on the bag. Recycling can also be a group effort where you get a group of people from your community, school, church, job, or just you and your friends so not only your saving the environment but your having fun with people you know while doing it.…

The new form is called "trash art." This art does the same thing but with garbage as your raw material. Around the world, artists are using thrown-away items as its medium and transforming it into something beautiful. These artists believe that garbage is valuable. Instead of sitting in dumpsters and landfills, some objects can be recycled into beautiful art pieces. One example is a sculpture made out of cigarette filters.
