Jimmy said, “There was a lot of problems that arose.” “Some of them are students coming on a field trip to an area close to their drilling site. Another problem is that there is an endangered panther in the area. Also, Torkelson, a fire investigator found a Red Diamond energy pen near the Arson. Someone glued Melton, one of our crew members, to a tree naked. They also painted Melton orange and took the front axle of our truck. Another problem that arose is that we hired a dog named Horace to find Twilly but Twily Dog naps him with steak. In addition, there were pink flags posted with the word SCAT on them marking the pipeline. “Twilly, an idiot, calls the wildlife warden to report an endangered panther in the area.” Drake McBride said. Jimmy said “ He had set an arson to send all the kids back to school and no one would find about the pirate well in section 22. We scared off the endangered panthers that were in the area with gunshots. When someone glued Melton to a tree, I assumed it was Duane Scrod Jr, a kid who has a history with arsons, and I framed him. I stole his bag, put a Butane torch in it and planted it in the spot of the arson. The fire investigator, Torkelson who found a Red Diamond energy pen, we lied to him. I lied to him saying I dropped that pen when I was flying in my Helicopter.” Jake said “When Torkelson came to arrest us, we had a rifle in our hands. I ran away. Jimmy surrenders. When I ran away Horace, the dog we rented to scare panthers away had scared me. I then climbed a tree. After I got away, my father was so mad at me that he turned me into the police.” Drake Mcbride and Jimmy Lee Balis have both been put into custody but Jimmy Lee Balis has gotten a lighter

In this case study presented by Hood (n.d.), Fauquier Gas Company is up against a timeline to supply a new construction project in the works where agricultural land was being developed into residential and commercial use. Fauquier Gas Company is looking for supplier to help with building of 3 ½ miles of new gas pipe that will go online by beginning of September. The manager of supply management Mr. Murphy is having trouble getting any purchasing request for the new pipeline from Mr. Charlie Buck and the specifications from the design team to know what he needs to order. This project is to be complete in the next five months to meet the new gasoline project. The vice-president of operations for Fauquier Gas Company has the management control over the supply organization including Mr. Murphy, construction project manager Clive Byers, design engineer Pat Wilson, and design Superintendent Charlie Buck. Mr. Murphy faced many logistical and supply problems from the very beginning of this project. Lead-time is essential for design team getting all the information on the new pipe to the Mr. Murphy so he can get the much need specification out to the need vendors to supply the correct materials for the upcoming project that need to finish by September. The biggest problem that Mr. Murphy came across was the new specifications for the new pipe were the wall thickness and length was different from previous purchases which could hurt in finding new vendor or seeing if older vendor can meet specifications on the new pipe. Pat Wilson informed Mr. Murphy the reason for the different specifications was the operation of the line would be governed by less stringent specifications and using 57-foot-length pipe versus “random double normal” (40 feet plus or minus 5 feet) would reduce welding costs. The coating for the pipe was also another problem that Mr. Murphy faced as no of team was communicating with each other on how to…

After a while, Ralph brought up the great idea of making a fire in order to signal the rescuers we would be on the island. I knew there was little time to waste just sitting around, so I led the group into the forest to gather firewood. Upon gathering wood, I was the one who came up with the idea of using Fatty’s specs as burning glasses. Still, I had never imagined that keeping a fire burning would be so hard! Later, I humbly offered the choir to maintain the fire in shifts. Everything went well until that swine Piggy decided to speak out again. He kept repeating himself about how building a fire was a bad choice, even though he didn’t contribute squat to anything to begin with. Still, bigger problems arose to overshadow his stupidity. The fire we thought had been put out actually spread and began burning down a chunk of the forest. To top it off, we are now missing a little shrimp with a mulberry-colored scar on his face. I remember him as the one who wouldn’t stop scaring others by talking about the “beasties in the forest”. Stupid kids always getting themselves into trouble. As the leader of the hunters, I will definitely find…
