Creativity is the process of producing something that is both original and worthwhile. As a widely demand skill, creativity has already been used to instead of routine. This essay will discuss the reason why creativity is more important than routine in terms of life experience, business and politics.
Firstly, creativity can make human’s life more convenient and colorful. With the developing of the types of invention was kept increasing, people’s life has already been surrounded by technological products. These inventions help users to complete many complex operations with just pressing few buttons to liberate human’s hands and brain. According to Roberts (2007), an inventor can recognize a need before others, or he may even create the demand because he can predict his invention could change life richer, easier and better. In addition, the creative thinking skills can provide more new ideas to live. Resnick (2007) notes that new technologies are better prepared for life in the Creative Society, if their potential is designed and used to help people develop as creative thinkers. On the other hand, falling into the same routine at the same time of day may keep safe but boring; it can hardly bring something new. It is essential that creativity can change human’s life easier and colorful than routine.
Secondly, creativity may bring more competitiveness to a company to create value in other areas of life. As Roberts (2007) argues, technological innovation can change the competitive status of firms and nations.
