It was another reason to wake up early and gear up for some exhilarating morning for us, Lasallians to be part of one of the biggest event in DLSU which is One Run, One Family, One La Salle (OROFOLS). It was held at Mall of Asia Complex, Pasay City. This is actually my first time to join an event like this. Good thing DLSU offered this to us, it was very tiring but nice experience though. Since this is a requirement, we froshies have to join in this event. We joined the 3k run and it was very exhausting but it was worth it after all because I was able to bond with my block mates. We were not after the prize of any sort or for finishing in the top 10. We were there to support the event and to actually experience it. We had a great time and we were proud that we actually finished the run without shortcuts, without thoughts of giving up. I realized the need to have a more active lifestyle. It was hard to run continuously even for two or three minutes. And I don’t see competitiveness and endurance there. We should all take steps in living a healthier and more active lifestyle. If you think so, do it soon before any ailment strikes you and stop you from doing any physical activity.
