There is a world in which humans have developped enough througout the ages to live comfortably, without wars or conflicts. Basicially, that's what our society try to make us believe, by giving us all these superficials goods for our own benefit. However, when you look at it from another point of view, this world is only filled with wars, conflicts and a tiny touch of feelings necessary for our survival. I just read and researched, what a waste you would say but, I finally reached my final goal, the end of my road. I created a simple book, I named it Heart since, it reflects its user's soul, if it's rotten to the core then this book will be the dakest and most evil weapon ever created, on the other hand, a righteous and respectful person would bring miracles with it.

Do you wonder what this simple book is able to do ? Well, like its name, it's simple, it can do one single thing, give life to your writings. That's right, everything written in it will be created out of a complexe system of magic and ki. The drawback ? Ahah... Pain and sickness will follow your every breath, your body will slowly crumble under the stress of the sheer quantiy of energy flowing througout you with each use. If you were a candle, this book would be a flame.

It's my final act, my pride and disgust of this world are holding their hands inside. My tears of sadness and joy are medling with each other... My life and wrinkles slowly fade as I open this simple brown book filled with pages as white as my hairs. A black pen is sitting in my hand, its tip slowly deposing ink on the first page, shaping three distinc

It’s an unusual little book, only 74 pages soaking wet, with funny little line drawings resembling cartoons. But its message is big. When I lend it to people, I can see the look on their face. “Is she serious??!” you can almost hear them think. “This is the book that’s going to explain everything and change my life??!!”…

Brave New World by Aldous Huxley is a dystopian novel that shows the dangers of letting scientific progress take over society while also exemplifying the fear of many people that science and progress will eventually remove humanity's individualism and free will, although individuals will remain and rise up to make a difference. This is Huxley's most famous novel, and for the right reasons. Huxley demonstrates his ability to create a world not unlike one that could happen in real life. Many critics and readers agree that Huxley's tale is hauntingly accurate in comparison to what has happened in the world since the 1930s regarding advancements, and that his story has left an impact on society.…

"There is no friend as loyal as a book" -Ernest Hemingway. I fabricated my senior project to inspire the younger generation to read and take home books. I believe that knowledge can be power when an individual finds something they enjoy. Books are universal and are being replaced with electronics. With all the insane things going on in the world how pleasant is it to crack open up a novel, and be taken into a different universe with imagination. That is the idea of my project to provide a readable piece of happiness. The goal of this is to do exactly what it says. Exchange a new book for an older one of yours, and to give people an opportunity to read. From there I had gathered up material from family members. Accordingly constructed a “take…

Looking around today’s society, it’s clear that we as a country and as a generation are painfully uncertain. In our careers, we question whether we are chasing our true calling and whether we should have travelled another path. In relationships, we run into the paradox of craving a maintained closeness with those we know with a desire to meet others. We question our abilities, our skills. We complain about our problems and feel entitled to solutions, but in our own indecisiveness we fail to effect any true change for ourselves and for those around us.…

In this task I will be reflecting upon an incident undertaken on area of my work. The model of reflection I’ve chosen is Gibbs (1988), which involves reflection on the description, feelings, evaluation, conclusion and action plan (Gibbs 1988). The Gibbs (1988) reflective cycle is fairly straightforward and encourages a clear description of the situation, analysis of feelings, evaluation of the experience, analysis to make sense of the experience, conclusion where other options are considered and reflection upon experience to examine what you would do if the situation arose again. The procedure in which I will be reflecting upon is Last offices; I chose this due to how constructive and valuable it was in my personal and professional development as a student practitioner nurse.…
