In science it says we start retaining information at the very young age of three. At three I was introduced to the only thing I've ever know, my earliest memories, and my first major lifefactor. At a young age i learned the importance of teamwork. Fast forward five years, i'm eight years old and this is the year teams go select. This means every eight year olds worst nightmare, tryouts. I remember the day exactly. It was just like any other practice, same coach, same girls, same me. But things didn't feel the same, i had this weird fluttery feeling in my stomach, this was new. I laced up my cleats just like any other practice, got my ball, and went for it. Despite my nervousness I strived to do the best to my ability, I was chosen for team captain.
