The twelve points of the Scout Law, "trustworthy, loyal, helpful, friendly, courteous, kind, obedient, cheerful, thrifty, brave, clean, and reverent", have been committed to my memory and instilled in my heart, becoming far more than just a list of adjectives. Following this law in addition to the guidance of adult leaders has allowed me to acquire the character and integrity I have now. As a Scout I also have constantly been challenged to step outside of my comfort zone, take charge of situations, and guide my peers.
