wide range of viewpoints and prominent evidence supporting a certain topic is a sufficient writing technique because it helps sway the reader to think one way or another.
Additionally, in essay one and three they both contain a Call-To-Action, which is a persuasive writing technique that is used to provide support for the position of the writer.
These essays focused on being able to persuade an audience to side for or against a specific topic of discussion. When implementing this tactic to my work, it was a very effective and beneficial way of solidifying my position, while at the same time gaining the readers confidence in my views pertaining to the topic. Therefore, when attempting to persuade the audience to think a certain way, the use of a Call-To-Action can provide support to a strong writer by concluding their argument in an effective manner. In my first essay, I chose to argue that performance –enhancing drugs should not be allowed. In regards to my third essay, I chose to argue that officers should be wearing police body cameras. Overall, the use of a Call-To-Action in both of these essays is a very useful persuasion technique and is necessary to complete your argument with extreme
effectiveness.
Lastly, in essay one, two and three they all encompass A.T.C.C, which is a technique that is used to fully inform the reader on a topic and the validity of the information it contains. This particular aspect of my essay is a very helpful technique when writing papers due to the way it eliminates any doubts the reader may have as to where the information was obtained. Although, most writers are inclined to spread out the A.T.C.C of each outside source as they are presented throughout their essay, I chose to place the name of the authors, the titles of their articles, the author’s personal background, and the arguments they are attempting to present to the reader all within the introductory paragraph. In retrospect, by doing this it instantaneously instills the reader with the belief that the information I am going to talk about in the paragraphs shortly after consist of solid research and are very prominent.
