I felt devastated. I did not understand at the moment, out of all those years I had prepared, the hard work and sacrifice… Why had my parents gotten ill just when I was about to leave? I was selfish back then. However, it is by looking back in time that I was able to understand, and be grateful, for the way everything went through.

Though the initiative gave a new boost and oxygen to my family business, maintaining and expanding the business are among some of my professional goals I have set myself in life. The experience I gained at work and the lessons learned at college has helped me and my family overcome several obstacles. But deep inside me I have this little something that’s bothering me, that’s telling me that I can do more and accomplish more in life.
At Dell I met some of the most influential leaders in my life. People that lead by example and inspired with their counsel and actions. Their motivation, ethics, culture, work environment and the sense of meritocracy was a real life changing experience for me.
