Reflective Practice Reflection
INTRODUCTION As Part of my overseas Nursing Programme ,I was supposed to do a 15 minutes presentation in front of a group of 27 students.The concept of reflective practice centres around the idea of life long learning in which a practitioner analyses experiences in order to learn from them.Reflective essay helps to promote critical thinking and analytical skills of the student.Reflective practice concept was introduced by Donald Schon (1983) and later many other researchers also been described reflective practice [Kurt Lewin,Jean Piaget(1993),Benner and Wrubel (1989) Gibbs (1988) and Johnson (2000). Gibbs (1988) reflective cycle is a popular model for reflection and I am using this model for my reflective essay.This model includes

CONCLUSION
The ability to present information concisely and effectively is considered as important as having basic nursing skills these days(Clare Lomas 2007) This assignment has gone a long way in enabling me to develop many skills which I believe,would be of great help to me in my future career. ACTION PLAN
I panned to improve my presentation skills by attending seminars and workshops.In the modern NHS, there is increasing emphasis on evidence-based practice and clinical governance, therefore,all healthcare professionals need to be capable of presenting the results of their professional activities (Sue Kenn & Mary Kenyon 2001). I plan to utilise the skills which I have achieved through this assignment in my future career.
