Reiss focuses on ‘the level of detail and quality for the price’ (vogue.com, 2010). These bridge retailers ‘attract customers who may want to wear designer brands but find them just a little out of reach’ (WWD, 1996). However, it is consumers with lower disposable incomes who aspire to wear designer clothing, that will ultimately shop at bridge brands such as Reiss.
