Relatos Salvajes: Film Analysis

The film Relatos Salvajes is a collection of short films that all focus around the theme of vengeance and have primal and animal like way. In the short story “The stronger one” both of the drivers show such behavior . The story takes place in a dry road in the middle of nowhere. As Diego is in a hurry; he attempts to change lane the but other driver, in the blue car, plays game by changing lane at the same time. Once successful Diego curses the blue car driver. Moreover Diego gets a flat tire and while he is trying to fix it, he sees the blue car approach and fears for his life, and decides to get revenge. The action taken by both drivers show the primal behavior similar to lions because they have a lot of pride for themselves. The driver
in the blue car decided to take revenge against Diego by smashing repeatedly his car. As a result this made Diego fear and become angry. These action by both men show animal like behavior the keppet on messing with each other cars- to show who was the biggest fiercest of the two.
