Summary of the final chapters of "Birds without a nest"
Chapter #53: Don Fernando’s family were on a train heading to a city, Margarita his goddaughter was with him. When it collided with a herd of cattle causing it to derail. The engineers and brakemen were able to detach the passenger car which stop on the bank of a river.
Chapter #54: Manuel set off to find Don Fernando, so he could get his step-father Don Sebastian off trail. He was also going to ask for Margarita’s hand in marriage.
Chapter #55: Don Fernando and his family survived the train crash, along with all the passengers, brakemen, and engineers. They were thankful they had survived the crash. The group saw something off in the distance, it was the city. When they got to the city there was a crowd waiting to greet them, the crowd to their bags and lead them to the Grand Imperial Hotel, where they were staying.
Chapter #56: When Don Fernando and his family were settled into their hotel. Margarita asked if they were going to wait for Manuel. Don Fernando said that they would be waiting for him. During the week they spent there Lucia and Don Fernando were talking about what they liked about the city and about how there was a lot of orphans. Lucia is carrying Don Fernando’s first child.
Chapter #57: Manuel finally made it the city where Margarita and her family were staying. He talked Don Fernando about the things that were going on from where he came from. Manuel found out that the family was in a train wreck on their way up to the city, he was very surprised. Manuel bought an agape for Margarita.
Chapter #58: Manuel gave Margarita the agape that he had bought her then he kissed her. Manuel asked Don Fernando and Lucia for Margarita’s hand in marriage. They were saying no because of Don Sebastian being his father. Then Manuel told them that the Bishop Carlo was his father. Then Don Fernando told Manuel that the true father of Margarita was the Bishop Carlo.
