Summarize the article (75 to 100 words) Swarm intelligence is a way of organizing robotic action and interaction for a particular purpose, without the presence of a central unit to give direction. Researchers are modeling swarm intelligence after such biological behaviors as ant colonization, bird flocking and fish schooling. Robotic swarm intelligence would be beneficial in such applications as rescue missions in buildings, mine detection, and tracking marine life.
