His full name was Rembrandt Harmenszoon van rijn.
He was the son of a miller.
When harmenszoon was older he moved to amsterdam in 1631.
He married Saskia van uylenburgh.
Harmenszoon completed many of his art works in a fashionable townhouse.
He was born in 1606.
He is the creator of the self-portraits and biblical scenes.
He is most famous for painting,printmaking. More fun facts/ style of art. people still have his paintings after 400 years
He was the 9th child.
He had 4 kids but 3 of them died when they were babies.
In 1640 He had a new interest in landscape which lasted through the next 2 decades.
In 1660 and 1661 he painted an enormous canvas for the amsterdam town hall.
