In “Greensleves”, the musical form would be binary with two parts that both relate to each other such as a statement and a counterstatement also known as the AB form. “Country jig” also has a binary musical form with part A being repeated after part B. “ La girometta” has a ternary form with a statement, contrast, and return or ABA’.

The lute, which is pear-shaped and commonly has twelve strings, was one of the most versatile and most often used instruments during the Renaissance era. By plucking the strings with fingers, the sound was gentle and expressive making it the most suitable instrument for the Renaissance era.
The harp is one of the oldest stringed instruments and it is found across the world today in different forms. Harps have strings made of gut, hair or silk that are joined to pegs or pins, and they are tuned when the pins or pegs are modified. It is little-known how harps were used due to no notation system, but it is known that harps had a large role in folklore and legend and were even thought to have powers from the supernatural realm.
The idea of the recorder has been around nearly as long as humankind; Recorders consist of a windway, a cut close to the top, and a piece of wood that is put in the end to be blown. The full and rich sound of the recorder allows them to be useful for both solo monophonic compositions and mixed ensemble pieces with polyphony that were common in the Renaissance era. Renaissance recorders had a lower register than that of the Baroque era that was better for the music of the
