Education made affordable
Stamford College launched ‘He1m’ in March 2014, making higher education possible for all
Malaysians. Malaysian students will now only pay RM 1 for higher education to study for a
Foundation or Diploma programme that will lead them to a bachelor’s degree from a British or
Australian university at Stamford. The degrees will be in business, hospitality, law, applied management, information technology or accounting & finance. Upon completion of the programme, Stamford College will assist students with their Perbadanan Tabung Pendidikan
Tinggi Nasional (PTPTN) loan applications.
“Knowledge and education are the keys to developing any nation,” said Dato’ Vincent Leong,
Managing Director of Stamford College. “As one of the oldest institutions in Malaysia, Stamford
College wants to do its part in ensuring that quality education is within reach to everyone.
Malaysians need to be exposed to an education that accurately communicates the challenges and skills they will face after their higher education. ‘He1m’ will ensure that no one is left behind in the race towards development.”
This innovative programme will make higher education accessible to Malaysians to improve their quality of skills for the manpower needs of the country.
Dato’ Vincent Leong also signed a ten year collaborative agreement to deliver Federation
University Australia progammes at Stamford College.
