When did this all start you ask? This organization was founded in 1776 (McNeely). There has been many rumors about Jay Z and Beyoncé’s association with the secretive society. I feel like there’s more problems the U.S. is having, Jay Z and Beyoncé, being members of the Illuminati are behind it all. The Illuminati has existed since ancient times. The word Illuminati was viewed as an evil term also. What they originally called it was Order of “Perfectibilists". This has been described as an institution whose “plan and object” was to “overthrow of all religion and all government (Payson). Many people have different theories as to what their overall goal or plot is. Some say it is to control the total government and the others say it’s the complete opposite. The Illuminati’s goals are to overthrow government, lower and middle class raised up, a new republic instituted, and the power of the church smashed (Levy). While another author says it’s to reform society peaceably and not all to engage in acts of violence (McNeely).
