was Amelia Mary Earhart. And that’s why I think she is a Great American. Some information about her is, she was born on July 24, 1897 in Atchison, Kansas. Her parent’s names
were Amy and Edwin Earhart. She also had a sister name Muriel Earhart. In her childhood she liked
horse riding tree-climbing and sledding in the winter.
Her dad was a role model to her but her dad started to drink and he lost his job , also her parents got
divorced. Then she moved to chicago .
