S. aureus produces an enzyme called staphylokinase
Virulence factors of the causative agent:
It has surface proteins that cause colonizing in the hosts tissues, invasins that promote bacterial spread in tissues, capsule that inhibits phagocytosis, biochemical properties that enhance their survival in phagocytes, toxins that lyse cell membranes, exotoxins that damage tissues and bring on disease, and have inherent and acquired resistant to antimicrobial agents.

Endocarditis- vehicle transmission, allows germs to enter your bloodstream by brushing teeth, skin
