The Huntington’s disease is an inherited condition where the nerve cells in the brain break down over a period of time. This is a very rare disease, there are less than 200,000 US cases per year. You would usually develop the symptoms in your 30’s and 40’s. If the disease begins earlier in life it is called juvenile Huntington’s disease.
