Resistance In Steven Pressfield's The War Of Art

Author, Steven Pressfield, was recently interviewed about his book, The War of Art. In his book he describes resistance as a force of nature, very much like gravity, which automatically accompanies artistic pursuit or the decision to grow in any manner. Resistance most often shows up as fear, negative thoughts, or people who are unsupportive. But like the bold knights in fairytales, we must face the dragon straight on and conquer it.

He also went on to say that when we do overcome the resistance and find ourselves in the flow, we will be met with a tailwind that helps us move along swiftly towards our goal.
