Some of the people and revolutionary heroes in the war were women, George Washington, Paul Revere, and slaves. There were many other people, but that is what I am going to focus about. When men had left to fight, women had new roles and jobs to do. Some of the wives followed their husbands in the war and did new jobs in it. Some women would dress in men’s clothes to fight in the battle. George Washington is a revolutionary hero who led the Americans to win the American Revolution and was a big part of the war. Some things that happened in the procedure of independence was that the Battle of Cowpens was a turning point for the American forces. The British had a hard time defeating the American in the furious and that is also why America got their independence. Another procedure was, Treaty of Paris was signed and it had declared that the war ended. Lastly, the independence was when America had gotten its equality that was much needed. The uniforms were in the war to fight in the war because if the uniforms weren’t worn by people, then people couldn’t have been in the war because they can’t just wear regular clothes. Also, the uniforms were used to tell the Americans and British apart and the uniforms were different colors. For example, the Americans wore blue and the British wore red. Lastly, the uniforms protected them and it allowed them to carry their guns with them. The most used guns were Long Rifles, Brown Bess Musket, and Bayonet which were both used by American and British. The Long Rifles are very accurate because when shooting, it can go very far and accurately shoot the person you need. It was very powerful as well letting you shoot many people which can die in one shot. The cons of the long rifles were that they very high cost and it required a lot of training for the soldiers to use it and actually realize the full potential of the Long Rifle.
