Economic globalization is a worldwide phenomenon where countries’ economic situations can depend significantly on other countries. Many allied countries would supply resources to each other that the other countries do not have. These resources can cover imported products, technology, and even human labor. Many people have observed that this phenomenon may lead to a “one-world government,” which consists of a centralized government for all nations.

How is Chile inserted in a globalized world? Well, after a general visión of the concept of glabalization, now we are going to focus on our local country Chile.
Globalization is moving us more toward a world culture with new events as time passes. Their advantages and threats are discussed, while Chile's strategy in entering in an interconnected world goes through appropriate use of technology and the formation of clusters in areas where our country has competitive advantages.
The economy of Chile is ranked as a high-income economy by the World Bank,[9] and is considered one of South America's most stable and prosperous nations,[10] leading Latin American nations in competitiveness, income per capita, globalization, economic freedom, and low perception of corruption.[11] However, it has a high economic inequality, as measured by the Gini index,[12] At a regional level, Chile is ranked around the mean in terms of the Gini index.[13]
