Rhabdovirus Synthesis
Rabies is a virus that spreads easily. Rabies causes the brain to expand and inflame in humans and mammals. The virus affects the nervous systems of the brain and spinal cord of mammals(Medbroadcast,2017). The inflammation in the brain causes the brain to function differently(MedBroadcast,2017). Rhabdovirus, single stranded RNA viruses, is the causative agent for rabies. The rabies virus is enveloped, it is covered/surrounded by a covering for protection. The rhabdovirus contains up of a helical ribonucleoprotein core(RNP), and an envelope that is surrounding the viru (CDC,2011). Eukaryotes have a synthesis process between protein and RNA that forms the ribonucleoprotein. The rabies genome has five protein components: nucleoprotein, phosphoprotein, matrix protein, glycoprotein, and polymerase protein(CDC,2011).

A measurement system exists among DNA and RNA that is measured by a kb, kilobase(CDC,2011).The rhabdovirus has a measurement of 12 kilobase(CDC,2011). Rabies is easily transmissible, by a bite from the saliva of a rabies induced mammal. Once the virus is induced, saliva is transferred into the wound(Mayo Clinic,2016). The virus could take from three days to over a year for the symptoms to appear. On average, it takes three to eight weeks for the symptoms to show. Dogs have been recorded to be the main transmitter to humans. Every year there are over 50,00 deaths of humans that have been caused by rabies(Dietzschold,2009). The virus affects the nervous systems of the brain and spinal cord of mammals(Medbroadcast,2017). Rabies are fatal, they can cause death and/or comas(MedBroadcast,2017). Rabies are historically known because of writings that have been written about, people who have been infected by the disease. North America has reported fewer problems of rabies than most third world countries. North America has a vaccination program for animals, to decrease the chances of spreading the disease. Rabies is most common in third world countries(Heum,2011).
