You can not turn on the television, or log onto the internet without seeing older generations versus millennials, straight versus gay, or Republicans versus Democrat. Instead of respectful disagreements, there is usually hate filled talk and sometimes violence. The dream has not yet been fully fulfilled. Until America has achieved the dream that Martin Luther King, Jr. spoke about, this speech will continue to be very relevant. My personal dream is to be a cartoonist and animation artist. I have found that cartoons and animation are ways to reach people that may not necessarily listen by any other way. I have first hand knowledge because I am one of those people. Expressing yourself through cartoons and animation is also a way that you can be sure that even long after you are gone, a piece of you still remain. It also means that you can affect people who you will never meet or know existed. The messages that I express through art can help to create a better
