When she tells her in which cousins and friends they tell her to visit a doctor. She didn’t listen and within a few months had another baby. Because of her pregnancy, her friends believed it was the pregnancy that had caused her pain. Her husband takes her to John Hopkins hospital in East Baltimore. This happened on February 5, 1951. Rapidly, Howard Jones educates her, however Henrietta still conceals her analysis from her loved ones. Henrietta goes to the hospital for a couple days keeping in mind the end goal to do treatment and testing.
