Structure is an element of fiction. The structure is split into four parts: exposition, Rising action, Climax, and resolution. The exposition in the lottery occur when the villagers gathered around for the town lottery. The complication/rising action occurs when the Hutchinson family draws papers to determine the lucky winner. The climax of the story occurs when Tessie Hutchinson wins the lottery. The resolution occurs when the villagers started throwing stones at Tessie Hutchinson.
