Section One. ACTIVITY AREAS 1.) CLIMBING AND ABSEILING The following potential hazards have been identified as being particular to this activity area: * a.) Equipment failure - failure of critical belay devices, anchor points or rope could lead to injury through falling from the climbing wall. (5) * b.) Unsupervised use of the facility when a session is not in operation could lead to injury through falling from the climbing wall. (5) * c.) Anyone not following important safety instructions and information could lead to minor injury through inappropriate behaviour during the session. (4) * d.) Poor or unsafe instruction - poor instruction or operation of the climbing wall could lead to serious injury to participants (5) * e.)
