One of the techniques the poem used to achieve it this is imagery, and this can be evidently seen in stanzas 1, 2 and the first half of three, especially in quotes "TWO roads diverged in a yellow wood", "And looked down one as far as I could to where it bent in the undergrowth "...it was grassy and wanted ware;". In all the quotes above the poet is describing the yellow woods and such descriptions throughout the poem helped me picture the two roads in the poet's point of view. I was able to visualize the roads in front of the poet to such an extent that I felt as if I were the person who was standing at the diverging roads and facing at decision. The roads/the poet's choice are very significant in the poem as the act as a metaphor between directions in life. This combination of techniques helped created a feeling of indecision and conflict. Everyone will have experienced such feelings sometime in their life and for me it personally brought out the experiences in my life where I faced such conflict and strong indecision. By being able to connect to it on a personal level with the help of the techniques used, I was not only able to understand the poet's journey but also feel
