Robert Iger Analysis
Famous business leader people have special skills to bring a business or organization from the bottom to all the way up. Not every business person has the capability to do this. Robert A. Iger is a great example on how perseverance, hard work and special skills are key in order to be successful in business. This paper will go over Mr. Iger’s biography and how he was able to succeed in every position he was promoted to. With his business abilities and knowledge, he was able to get noticed by upper management and was constantly offered new higher positions. From working as a weatherman for a local news station, studio supervisor for ABC, and now working as the CEO of Disney, Iger has proven to the world what a great business leader he is. His great technology implementation, leadership and his success with international relations has made Mr. Iger be considered one of the top 25 best business leaders in the world. Most people have enjoyed films from Walt Disney for years since childhood. If a survey was conducted, it would not be a surprise to discover that almost everyone in the world has watched movies from Disney company. Robert Iger. His story is inspiring as it shows how perseverance and hard work really pays off. As we learned, Mr. Iger was very ambitious and worked his way up from the bottom. He made positive changes to every company he worked for, and with hard, honest work he gained great reputation and was promoted when upper management noticed his great skills. He even made the company’s profit grow from $8.4 million in 2015 to $9.4 in 2016. Being a great business leader requires special skills in order to not only do a job well done within the company but also keep your personal life in balance.
