The impact Blake has had on the company has been tremendous as he has taken a struggling company with declining sales and recessed stock prices to being profitable in three years (A reference, 2015). It began with an aggressive new strategy that introduced innovative computer technology for inventory and sales tracking, high speed cash registers, and slowing the openings of new stores so he could restore the organization’s commitment to customer service and experience (World of, 2013). More recently, Blake has focused on investing in more technology to improve the company’s mobile apps and other technology conveniences (World of, 2013).
