In Texas abortions weren’t aloud, and because of that women would get illegal abortions formed. These illegal abortions are highly dangerous meaning so many women died from trying this process. Roe was a 21 year old pregnant girl who struggled through life. Was a 10thgrade drop out, abused, and raped as a teenager. She spent some time in behavior school, to get her life back together because she abused alcohol and drugs. Though she had a hard life no mater how many kids she conceived she never could have an abortion, but she felt that she should get one because she wasn’t healthy , and she only had a 10th grade education how would she be ready to take care a child. Roe also didn’t have thee funds to obtain one. Wade had a fairly good life went to school graduated from university of Texas and shortly after became the district attorney in Dallas county. People on the Supreme Court justices were. Chief justice Warren Burger , William O, Douglas, William J Brennan, Potter Stewart , Thurgood Marshall , Harry Blackmon , And Lewis Powell. Roe argued that Abortion should be legalized because of the impact it puts on a women’s life. Since Roe experienced this, she could relate because during this trail while being pregnant she wasn’t ready to take care a child. She also says the Bill of rights states that a woman has a right to terminate their pregnancy. Roe does not believe the fetus to be considered a person as of in a women stomach because it has no say of what it feels. So she thinks the Texas laws are unconstitutional and should be overturned. Wade argued that when a woman becomes pregnant that is another life and the state has a right to protect it. He believed the unborn are people and should be protected.
