Role of Government
WHY JAMES MADINSON USES CREDITORS AND DEBTORS AS RICH AND POOR, AND THE ROLE OF THE GOVERNMENT IN REGARDS TO MONEY LENDING A creditor is a party that has a claim to the service of a second party. It is a person or institution to whom money is owed. A debtor is an entity that owes a debt to another entity; the entity may be an individual, firm, a government, a company or other legal person. James Madison compares creditors and debtors to the rich and poor because the creditors are the parties which have enough money to lend and are the rich. Creditors give the money to the debtors with probable interest in return, and the rich parties are the parties expected to prevail, the creditors in those parties are the judges between themselves and the creditors determine what happens. Then James Madison compares the debtors to the poor because the debtors need money and they borrow it from the creditors and sometimes they the debtors fail to meet the financial obligation, and so do the poor , they lack material possessions or adequate supply of something specified, then the poor borrow from the parties who have them ( the rich). Madison purposed for a balance between the creditors and debtors, just like there is a balance between the rich and the poor. The role of the government in the lending of money should be to control the amount of money being given out to specific people. And also to assess the debtor if the person is able to pay back the amount being borrowed. The government shouldn’t be involved in lending of money if the money borrowed is not of great value. The government should just overshadow the parties incase both parties get out of

In my eyes the government should put the people first 100% of the time. If leaders don’t make decisions based on what the people want, it leads to an unbalance and a disconnect between the people and government. That’s why so many people today distrust the government because they feels as if the government doesn’t represent them, like their voice isn’t heard. People in power should be the first ones to help in times of trouble. They should be a rock and bright light for those who feel hopeless. People in power should assist in every possible way in times of tragedy because its shows that you care about the everyday person, not just the person that cast a vote. In America, the President should be the one everybody can count on to be a symbol of hope and freedom. After all, the President is the leader of the free world. All in all, people in power should always have the best interest of the people in mind and should always be an honest and reliable outlet for their people.…

Like in 1984, Brave new world shows the dangers of letting the government take too much control over our daily lives. Where a good government will leave its citizens alone to live their own lives. What makes the New World Sate different from brutal totalitarian regimes like those in our history and in 1984 is that the government feeds on the weaknesses of human nature. This makes citizens give away their freedom for a false sense of happiness and security.…

In the story “An Indian Father’s Plea”, the story shows how culture is oftenly affecting how one views others and the world by showing what Wind-Wolf did as a child before he went to school. For example, throughout the story, the father of Wind-Wolf shares to his teacher what Wind-Wolf was exposed to as a child, “. Because of this, Wind-Wolf’s educational setting was not only a “secure” environment, but it was also very colorful, complicated, sensitive, and diverse.” This can show that the child is exposed to his Native-American culture and later in the story, the father talks what the child does spiritually with his mother and what he experienced in his tribe. “Wind-Wolf was with his mother in South Dakota while she danced for seven days straight…

"They that can give up essential liberty to obtain a little temporary safety deserve neither liberty nor safety," says Benjamin Franklin in Historical Review of 1759. Others tend to say just the opposite of what Ben Franklin quoted. With that being said, a key question comes up for discussion: Does the government have the Constitutional power to suspend the Constitution during a time of crisis? Certain documents were brought up for discussion that deal with certain articles from the Constitution and some acts/laws that the Congress passed to substantiate whether the government has certain powers. By using the U.S. Constitution, the Espionage Act, the Sedition Act, an executive order from President Franklin D. Roosevelt, and two federal Supreme…

No person is born good or bad; it’s his surroundings that mould his character and make him who he is. People often criticize a person by the actions he takes but they seldom take into consideration the atmosphere he was living in, that might have led him to take such vile decisions. Amir is one of the characters In The Kite Runner written by Khaled Hosseini, who was mistaken by many readers to be an iniquitous person for watching his servant Hassan get raped and not stopping the act. However, only few readers understand that he did what he did to earn his father’s approval. Through out the book, Amir was knuckling down for his father’s affection and his obsession to be the perfect son blurred out the fine line between good and bad, and made him take odious actions.…

The rule of law prevents the United States from breaking out into a mob rule. Order, equality, and freedom are the three factors that keep our government in order. With everyone in order it creates an equal opportunity for all, and with equality comes freedom because everyone would ultimately be the same. The rule of law is crucial for democracy because without it there would be chaos and many people attempting to create their own government defeating the meaning of The United States of America.…

When I think about the American government seven words come to my head and those words are “life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.” Those words define what are government has been created for. It was created by the people for the people and today I think America is falling away from those beliefs that are founding fathers wrote so long ago. So how does America get back on track? Well for one I think the American Government has forgotten that this country has been blessed by The Lord our God and in doing so I think America is suffering for it. That’s just one subject that I think is wrong with the American Government but I’m going to talk a lot more than just that. I’m going to talk about the good and bad of The Constitution, Federal and State governments, the political party system, Civil Rights, Taxes and government spending, Government control of the economy, Socialism versus Capitalism, and the Checks and Balance System.…
