We were stuck at the top of the roller coaster with a couple of carts going over the edge, terrifying. Plus, the 0 miles per hour to the what felt like 2,000 mile per hour takeoff with no warning almost made me wet myself! As, we were going around the first turn my ribs were rattling like drums. My heart was pounding through my chest like a wrecking ball. Going up the first hill I slammed my eyes shut hard. Up and down the hill with ease I opened my eyes not scared, not afraid. When we finally got off the ride, my brother Drake started chanting “We’re not dead, we’re not dead!” My mom startled him by replying “Shut up, we weren’t gonna die!” “Yay, we almost did.” As I saw the next carts soar up I wished they would get stuck but, they didn’t. It was a great experience because now I think it’s pretty cool and special to get stuck on a roller coaster. The chances of getting stuck on a roller coaster are very low and rare. Out of all the rides the American Thunder is the only one I have ever got stuck on. On that day, I learned that you could go from having the best time of your life to maybe almost
