This century really showed the world of music that there was a continuation of the music languages. Due to the fact that the music world was so open, it allowed society to be more open and free to how they expressed themselves. Folk music was introduced more into this period along with unconventional rhythms and practices. Non-European music was incorporated into the composers who were discovered in the Twentieth Century. American Jazz started to being introduced during this period which led into the Jazz period. There are a lot of developments that branched out into what music is today.
