“thus with a kiss I die”Said Romeo just as he kills himself In romeo and juliet. Romeo has Given everything just to be with Juliet. This play was written by William Shakespeare, and took place in the 1300s. For centuries both Romeo and Juliet's families struck with an ax of hatred to each other in the city of verona. Yet during four days the star cross lovers think they found love in each other. True love is an intense feeling of deep affection. What romeo had was a lust for juliet. Romeo’s lust for juliet caused their deaths. One big reason Romeo’s lust for Juliet caused their deaths was romeo being to impatient. Romeo and Juliet got married in a day in a haft. “As mine on hers, so hers is set on mine; And all combin’d,
save what thou must combine by holy marriage.” This shows their impatience to be together, leading to their deaths. Another reason is his immaturity. When Benvolio was killed by Tybalt, Romeo killed Tybalt. “(Tybalt)Thou, wretched boy, that didst consort him here Shalt with him hence.(Romeo) This shall determine that.” That was an immature decision to do because he ruined his life and any chance with Juliet, by this leading to his death.
In conclusion Romeo’s lust for Juliet caused their deaths. His impatient mind shows that getting married in a day in a haft is a lust. Romeo’s immaturity was a another reason because he had the choice to not kill Tybalt. All of this shows that this was romeo’s fault for the two star crossed lovers to kill themselves.
