There were a few places available within my budget, however, I hadn't taken into account that an incident with a previously owned automobile had dramatically affected my credit for the worse. I had the money to move in, but with poor credit, and not enough money to live beyond the first month, people were turning down my applications left and right. Eventually I was able to find someone who was renting out a room, that did not require a credit check, and seemed trustworthy. She ended up being an overall good candidate for a roommate, but the condo was on the opposite side of the island of which I worked, making for an extremely long commute 5 days a week. I had a hard time finding a place to live because of my credit, I struggled financially because of my lack of savings, poor credit, and when in the year I moved, and had to invest in a vehicle that cost more money than it was worth. In order to reduce the likelihood that these problems will arise again, I have taken note of each specific problem I have and am currently working on solutions to them. I liked my job as a server, it was a fun and easy job, and I plan on returning to it when I move again. This time, however, I will make sure to work a second job, with more of my time being freed up from being a fully online student. Saving a larger amount is very important; I plan on leaving with four times the amount of money I had before, and instead of renting an expensive hotel room for the week I will be renting a cheap campsite for a month. My credit is being worked on slowly but surely; it has already gone up over 100 points in the past few months and should be in excellent condition by the time May arrives. With more money, better credit, and work history on the island, I plan on renting a one bedroom apartment on my own terms, which will be nearby my places of employment, entertainment, and shopping, thus mostly eliminating the need for a car. I feel that if I remain diligent in solving the problems presented to me, I will have
