states that the bible teaches us that, “work is part of God’s fundamental covenantal plan for us, our attitude while working must reflect our awareness of that plan” (pp.49 Ruddell). Christians are expected to be hard workers giving their best qualities and abilities. Working in Christian leadership we provide guidance that displays honest work knowing it is for God and not the company or business alone. The bible teaches that hard work is acceptable and is what he expects from us. In business, Christians draw strength and assurance for God to lead others and build a lasting working relationship. God provide the guidance that allows us to work with a good attitude and love what we do for others. Colossians 3:23 states, “And whatever you do, do it heartily, as to the Lord and not to men.” Compared to one of my personal worldview I will have to agree with the bible as a Christian.
God appointed us all to be stewards on the earth. I believe that God called Christian business leaders to manage their business according to a spiritual standard that exceeds customary business ethics. God entrust us with his materials, both financial and physical, to oversee them with protection, attention, and competence. As Christian business leaders, I feel that we must honor God in our business practices by following his principles. I also believe that Christian employees should be leaders who display characters that reflect business ethics that are pleasing to God. Being an honest employee and working hard will provide a trusting relationship with the leaders and those under their leadership. Business leaders must treat their employees, customers, and others with dignity in Christian ethics. Christian business leaders must always count on God’s guidance for the business. Leaders should also pray and trust God to provide the resources, directions, and earnings in their business practices. The difference between Christian biblical ethical views compared to secular ethical views I that biblical are teachings from God and secular derive from
humanity.
