This nation’s ideology outlined five principles (Rukun Negara principles) which was created from the inspiration of Malaysian society, shaped according to Malaysian measurements and consumed by Malaysian of all races and religions.
Around the year 1970 especially when our nation was conquered by MAGERAN, the steps to form the base of a government was being done sternly. The objective was to control the citizen from being upheld by any racial issues like the history of May 13th 1969. In the year 1970, the government has given the “commissioned research and consultancy” regarding specific themes to the professionals around the world. One of the commissioned research and consultancy theory was given to the Harvard University Development Advisory Service to do a research on Social Science for National Unity 1970. All the researchers advised the government to introduce the disciplines of Social Science Knowledge to the “Universiti Malaya, Universiti Sains and Universiti Kebangsaan” since there were only three universities at that time. This is to implement the practices of Human labor in the aspect of Social Science to contribute these valuable effort to the nation.
The ideology also was shaped according to the races of the nation which are the Malays, Chinese, Indians and Others to get acceptance from these races to implement it as it was planned to be implemented in the schools and every national events. This will embrace our cultural society and allows the people to sink deep into our patriotism values, thus can tighten the people much more than before. In sense of the principle being shaped into the Malaysian measurement is by relating towards their values, religion, beliefs, history, and prospects. The history was deeply including the tragedy of May 13 1969.
