For example, in the novel, the boys split opinions and went into two groups. In each of the situations, the people were vicious towards one another. In our class, a person would want to contribute to the group and the “chiefs” would ignore their idea until someone else brought it up, which is why I believe we became two groups. I also think due to the lack of adult authority in both our class and the novel it led to forgetting about rules. Both our class and Lord of the Flies became uncivilized. Our class just degraded one another’s opinion on what wanted to be added to the poster. However, in Lord of the Flies they forgot their morals and rules.
Lord of the Flies brings in a new outlook on life and how you treat people. The novel makes you think about treating others differently than how you have treated others in the past. It makes you think that they still are human and they have the same instinct as you. Many people can learn from the Lord of the Flies to make sure that you’re in line with the laws. Without laws, society would end up like Lord of the Flies. The novel also teaches the reader not to classify people into groups that make them seem like less of a
