Fedex emphasizes on employees being the main competitive advantage that they hold. Fedex strongly believes that there is a strong relationship between pay and performance. The year 2015 saw higher rewards given to its employees than 2014 due to their higher adjusted earnings (FedEx Annual Report, 2015, pg 4). Rewarding of employees is an important part of the Fedex culture as well as the People-Service-Profit philosophy.
