Same-sex couples vs. Heterosexuals couples.
Society has always been divided on the issue of homosexuality. That is why; it is important to discuss such a controversial issue in today's society. This article does not intend to change the opinion of the readers. Gays are people like us with same needs, concerns, feelings and rights. Gays cannot be discriminated only for having a different sexual preference. The important points in this essay are; marriage and employment opportunities, adoptions and legal rights and the evolution through the years. Levels of commitment between a heterosexual couple and a gay couple are always compared in our society. In today's society, we see different opinions regarding life equality between these couples. As well as we struggle to see that, they are not as distinct as they seem. In this paper, the similarities and differences between heterosexual and gay couple as well as their interaction with today's society will be examined.
First, there so many facts when you try to explain to our society about LGBT rights. There is still a significant disparity between how relationships are perceived. Heterosexuals get married and have firm and perfect families. Gays casually have dates, and only a percentage establish their relationship in marriage. It is not that a heterosexual couple has more advantages over a gay couple, but society was responsible for limiting the right to this community. Most people regardless of sexual orientation have the need to love and feel loved, to matter to someone special and create a relationship with that person based on companionship, mutual respect and tolerance. Culture plays an important role in these commitments, putting pressure on individuals to create families equally. LGBT people can give a unique meaning to their love
