In the United States there were 32,000 deaths caused by a gun in every year which is outrageous. There were 1.2 million abortions every year as well, if those gun causality’s aren’t okay why in the world would abortion be accepted. People think that since the baby is unborn it is fine to kill it, Dr. Seuss said “A person is a person no matter how small.” (Quote from Dr. Seuss)
Abortion for me is a very important topic because although the baby is unborn it is still a life, and I think it would be wrong to kill that baby. I understand the other argument that the mother should have the individual right to choose what to do with her baby. But does the baby have individual rights? That baby is just as much a human as anyone else is. Murder is never okay in society so why would abortion be ok. I think it is for the common good that we don’t allow abortion because like I stated before, it is murder since you are ending someone’s life, and not allowing someone to experience life is a shame. The mother had a decision to make and I am guessing that most children would be very thankful that their mother didn’t have an abortion. I think that the constitutional principle of individual rights relates to abortion very well because, like I mentioned before the baby has the individual right. Since the baby has the individual right, it isn’t really up to the mother to choose that for her baby. “We’re all human, aren’t we? Every human life is worth the same, and worth saving” (J.K. Rowling) even though that baby is small and powerless it still deserves our
