The Captain was talking to every other Captain of the soldiers in the town. Captain Miller found a lead to Ryan's whereabouts because of a solider that has been separated from Ryan's patloon. This gave the Captain and his men to keep moving forward because of the confidence of Ryan still being alive. While moving forward the troop came across Germen enemies with automatic machine firearms.This set them back to take out the enemies before they kill any other American soldiers. The troops had to do the impossible and grenade the machine gunner risking their own lives to for the rest of the men to live. While the attack it was successful with only one of the men named Private Wade ended dieing while a machine gunner shot him rapidly taking his life away. They captured the German who killed Wade the men in the squad wanted to take the Germans life away but the Captain did not allow the order and wishes of the men. The Captain let the German go since the Captain did not feel the need to take his life away for what he did to his fellow soldier. The German was set free by the Captain and this lead his men in an outrage against him for allowing him go. The Captain needed to show who he really was in his personal life and past.
